What we do

what we do

Sunday mornings
Every Sunday morning we meet at 10.30am at St Paul’s Catholic College, Burgess Hill. We’ve put lots of effort into making Sunday mornings connect with children – whilst at the same time trying to make it a welcoming environment for all age groups. Kids can expect lively worship music, relevantly presented bible stories, craft and games. Youth have their own venue. Meanwhile in the café , we have Sunday papers, coffee, and a bible talk for adults. If you’re not a regular churchgoer, these Sunday morning meetings are designed to be a great first step for you. Purpose Groups
During the week we divide into smaller ‘Purpose Groups’ that meet in people’s homes. This is the place where we really get to know each other, and receive the support and encouragement that we all need. Each group is gathered around a ‘purpose’ - a concern or interest that is shared by the members of the group. This gives the group an outward focus, benefiting those outside the group in some way. Kids at The Point
From the start we had a high percentage of children in our church, and decided we wanted to do kids work really well. We’ve invested lots of time, energy and enthusiasm in this. We want our children to know that church is for them, to love it and to have a real relationship with Jesus. We run a full programme for all ages on a Sunday morning, and various groups and activities during the week. More...

Youth at The Point
There’s a growing group of teenagers at The Point. On Sunday mornings they meet in a café-style environment all of their own, where they give church it’s own distinct flavour. They also meet on Friday nights and in small groups during the week. More...

Please come come forward at the end of any Sunday service an ask for prayer. If you would like to book a prayer appointment please contact the office email. Or if you are interested in joining the Prayer Team, you will need to complete the Living Free Discipleship course and the Prayer Team Training, please contact John Mitchinson for more information email

Looking Out
One of the key roles of a church is to reflect something of God’s heart to the world around us. Because of that we’re constantly looking for ways to reach out and make a positive impact on our communities. That might be something as simple as us hiring a skip and serving our neighbours by assisting them in getting rid of some household junk! Or it might be something more involved like volunteering with ‘Off the Fence’ in Brighton – a charity we’re involved with, working alongside the homeless. More...
