Hi, here's what's happening at The Point...

August at The Point:
Sundays in August - special Summer format, all together in the Sports Hall from 10.30-11.45am.
(We love to meet together but we work hard and also need to take time to rest and refuel and take holiday over the summer. We plan to simplify things, to give our children's and youth team a break and reduce the work load for set-up teams and musicians - Then we will all be back to full strength in September. This also gives us the opportunity to experiment and be creative in our Sunday services!)
On Wednesday evenings we will be having adult meetings 7.45-9.45pm at The Point Office, with worship, teaching, prayer and fellowship.

Prayer - Tuesday, 7am and 9.15am at Torch HRC, Hurstpierpoint
Thursday, 7am at The Point Offices, Burgess Hill. This will mainly be focused on prayer for kids and youth.

Annual Point Golf Day - 18th July at Cuckfield Golf Club, open to all regardless of experience. Cost is £25 which includes coffee, practice golf balls, 18 holes of golf, a hot ploughman's lunch and plenty of prizes! £10 deposit secures your place, speak to Nick Marples of Wayne Jones if you want to attend.

Cream Tea for women, Sunday 20th July in the afternoon. Mary Pytches will be speaking, tickets now available at £3 each.

Minibus Driver Needed for Soul Survivor, either 11th or 16th August, to take young people to Shepton Mallet for the conference. For insurance reasons, the driver must have a clean licence and have passed their test before 1997.

If you would like a prayer appointment with the Living Free team, there are slots available on Wednesday evenings, 8.30pm at Hurstpierpoint Village Centre. Please contact Tracey Burdette-Deakin, tiggs_funkychick@yahoo.co.uk.

Message from Will about Off The Fence:
Off The Fence, the brilliant charity in Brighton that we support, working with homeless and vulnerable people, are appealing for funds to cover a cash flow crisis at present. Paul Young writes:
"July and August always bring us to the wire financially, we have set a very brave budget and a lot of different Trust money is not due until September.
The forecast for the coming year looks good but we are at risk for lack of immediate funds, if anyone would be willing to give a donation we would love to hear from you.
Thank you so much for your support and partnering in the work."

Hope you're having a great week,
God bless!
