This page includes short introductions to our Staff Team and our Oversight Team (those responsible for overseeing the church both spiritually and legally).

Will and Caroline KempWill and Caroline Kemp
Will and Caroline moved to Mid Sussex with their three children, Jonny, Lukas and Joshua, in August 2004, to 'plant' The Point, a new Anglican Network Church for Mid Sussex. Will is the Vicar of the church and together with the oversight team is responsible for overseeing the church. Will was ordained as a Minister in the Church of England in 1999, and worked for a church in London before moving to Mid Sussex. Caroline trained as a Clinical Psychologist and worked in the NHS, and is now a full-time mum.

James di CastiglioneJames di Castiglione
James is married to Louise and they have 3 children, Fin, Sam & Olivia. They moved to Sussex in 2008, when James was ordained as a Church of England Minister, and appointed as Curate (assistant pastor) at The Point. Louise is a full time Mum. Before moving to Sussex, James & Louise pastored a youth church together in Northwest London.

Sarah CollisonSarah Collison
Sarah is married to Matt and joined The Point in 2005. She has a degree in Youth work and Theology and is responsible for overseeing the Youth Ministry. Sarah is Burgess Hill born and bred but spent a year in Australia before joining The Point. Matt is a graphic designer and also involved in the youth work.

Angie McDonaldAngie McDonald
Angie is our children's pastor, responsible for all our work with children of primary school age and younger. She heads up a large team of over 30 committed volunteers. She has two teenage children of her own, Bronte and Callum. Angie trained as a sports coach, and before joining the staff team at The Point, she coached sports in several local schools and ran her own business organising play schemes and children's parties. She still runs a women's netball group on Monday nights. Ang attended Kingdom Faith Bible College in Horsham. She has a passion for prayer, and longs to see children (of all ages!) encountering Jesus in a life-changing way.

Barbara RedmanBarbara Redman
Barbara has 5 children (2 in the UK) and 8 grandchildren (2 in the UK) and enjoys travelling! She is the church administrator and also oversees the cafe team with Julia Crook. Barbara has been involved with The Point right from the start in 2004 after moving down from Hertfordshire to be with her family.

Stuart BarbourStuart Barbour
Stuart and Andy have two children and joined the church in 2005. Stuart is the Worship Pastor at The Point with a team of around 30 singers and musicians. He also looks after the tech teams overseeing the operations side of our gatherings, and The Point TV Channel on YouTube, putting together short films about the life of The Point. Stuart is a professional musician (guitarist and singer) and before joining the staff team was performing and recording full-time. Andy worked as a Human Resources manager and is now a full-time mum and is involved with our children's ministry.

Sarah SteelSarah Steel
Sarah is married to Mark and lives in Burgess Hill. She has been working for The Point as Assistant Youth Pastor since June 2011 and loves seeing Jesus change people's lives. She also enjoys baking cakes and drinking tea with friends.

Will KempWill Kemp
Will is the Vicar. He met Jesus as a student in the late 1980s. After leaving university he worked as a church youth-worker for 4 years and then was selected for ordination in the Church of England. In 1999 Will became curate at St Barnabas Church in West London. It was always his dream to plant a church so when the opportunity came to move to Mid Sussex and start The Point he jumped at it! Will leads the staff team, is responsible for preaching and teaching, and works closely with the rest of the Oversight Team on the overall vision and direction of the church.

Nick BaldwinNick Baldwin
Nick & Sue have been at the Point for over four years. They have been married over 30 years, spending half of that time overseas before settling in Cuckfield ten years ago. They have four children at various stages of adulthood. Jess and Adam work in London, Sam is about to graduate and Jake about to leave for university. Nick is the senior partner of a Christian firm of accountants in Horsham where he specialises in charity audits and provides financial and management advice to many churches and Christian businesses around the country. Sue works as a physiotherapist in Henfield and serves in the church on welcome, information and running a ladies discipleship group. As Treasurer, Nick is responsible for the financial policies and oversees the financial management and information of the church. He also serves as a leader of the set-up teams.

James AllenJames Allen
James is married to Neroli and they have 2 children, Gregory and Edward. James and Neroli joined the point in 2006 and James served on the kids team for 5 years and is now serving on the welcome team. On the oversight team, James is responsible for Staff and Employment as well as being the Secretary. In his work life he manages large technology related programmes for BT.

Christian Demaine-StoneChristian

Christian has been a Christian for 19 years and has attended The Point on and off for the last 5 years but more consistently in the last 2 years. He works for the NHS in the field of mental health and manages a team of Occupational Therapists across West Sussex. He has held various leadership roles in the churches he has attended over the years ranging from home group leader to full time Youth Pastor. He has a passion to see the lost saved and a desire to see the church take care of its own through effective pastoral relationships.
He is married to Naomi and they have two wonderful girls Beatrice, 5 and Allegra, 2 .
On the oversight team, Christian is currently pulling a team together to review Safeguarding policies.

Juliet LeachJuliet Leach
Juliet was brought up in the Salvation Army and became a Christian as a young child. She is married to Martin, they have four children and live in Hurstpierpoint. They have lived as a family in developing countries for 15 years involved with development work in Africa and Asia. They have attended churches of various denominations, including a Baptist Church in Lilongwe Malawi where Juliet served as a Church Deacon. She has been a member of The Point Church for nearly six years and has been involved with the Kids Team for most of that time, leading blue group and the creche as well as involvement with the Prayer team, Welcome Team, leading a small group and supporting Women's ministry. She works in School Nursing in Horsham. On the oversight team, Juliet is responsible for supporting staff with Health and Safety, and Small Groups.

John MitchinsonJohn Mitchinson
John is 45 yrs old, has been happily married to Nikki for 14 years and works as a GP in Loxwood near Billingshurst. John and Nikki have 2 children, Isaac and Helena, and have been members of the Point for 5 years. John grew up in a Christian home and made his own commitment aged 16. The first 2 years at the Point John served on the set up team, but over the last 3 years has been involved in organising and delivering the Living Free courses and has headed up the prayer team for the last 2 years. He has been taken out of his comfort zones, challenged and greatly blessed in the last 5 years and is passionate about seeing the love and power of God break into people's lives more and more as it has into his. On the oversight team, John is responsible for the Healing and prayer ministry team and Church Discipline.
