healing on the streets |
Every Saturday morning, since 25th January 2009, a team of us have gone out onto the streets of Burgess Hill to offer prayer for healing. We set up a number of wooden deck chairs in the pedestrianized shopping precinct; we kneel on the ground and invite the presence of God; and then we pray for those that God brings. As we reach out with the love of our Heavenly Father we see many loves touched and some healed. You can read some of their testimonies here.

I came to my first Healing on the Streets on 26th September with a very painful knee and painful toe, you and Danielli prayed for my knee & toe. I led a 6 mile downland walk for the South Downs Society last Wednesday (which on Saturday I thought I'd have to cancel) followed by a 7 mile one for MSCC on Saturday - no pain either day in my knee, though the toe still pains me.
I'm trusting the Lord for the toe - you've prayed for it twice now and MSCC once.
Mark Marx
The son of one of our team members, who often passes by on a Saturday had prayer for his
very red raw and painful hands and forearms. He was prayed for at The
Point that first Sunday when Mark Marx was there, and his arms began
to improve and dry up. Then a fortnight later he had prayer on the
street and the healing continued. Now his hands and arms are back to
normal. Before he was prayed for he had had to stop washing up at the
old people's home kitchen he works at.He'd been given a week off work
and was on strong cream from the Doctor, which hadn't helped much.
It's been a real witness to him of God's power today, and I hope has
deepened his faith and made it more practical.

I want to thank Praise and Thank God for the Healing I have received for the hearing loss in my right ear while I was attending The Healing on the Streets conference in April this year at Causeway Coast Vineyard Church in Coleraine Northern Ireland. On the Friday evening at the end of Pastor Alan Scott’s talk there was a call for those with hearing defects to go forward for prayer which I did and I was very lovingly prayed for by two men whose names I think were John and Ivan. I could feel that something was happening in my ear during and after the time of prayer and praise the Lord and the hearing had improved. It was hard for me to test how much it had improved being away from my usual surroundings and I decided to test further this on getting back home.
When we returned on Sunday we went straight to our morning service after which a member of our Healing on the Streets team came up to me prayed for further healing for my ears and I want to Praise God because my hearing is now back to normal.
Praise God for a truly memorable weekend at the conference in Coleraine, the great blessing of my hearing restored, great fellowship with the team, the training and memorable prayer and worship.
