getting involved

If you would like to explore what it means to make The Point your church family, then you will probably want to start getting involved. Many have found the following ‘4Cs’ to be a great way into the life of the church.

1) Come: come along regularly to our gatherings.

2) Contribute: start to make a contribution by serving, praying and giving financially. The Point depends on a fantastic team of volunteers who contribute to the life of the church in lots of different ways. We would be delighted if you would like to get involved in any way or join one of our teams. For more on this, please pick up our ‘Getting Involved’ leaflet, or contact the church office.

3) Community: join a small group. It is hard to relate to a large group of people in a really meaningful way. In order to make good relationships we encourage people to get involved in a Purpose Group. The best way to get into a Purpose Group is to attend the LIFESHAPES course.

4) Commend: invite others who are not currently involved in a church to come along and see what God is doing. When God starts using us to draw others in we really feel part of it.
